TheWalther FFK is the first friction folder knife in the German manufacturer's lineup, featuring a 440C steel blade, contoured G10 laminate facings and a kydex sheath.
The Walther FFK will work great as a full-size edc knife or a lightweight outdoor tool.
High-quality stainless steel
The blade of the knife is made of the popular 440C stainless steel hardened to 57-59 HRC. Thanks to its increased carbon content, the steel resists wear, retains its working sharpness for a long time, and sharpens relatively quickly and easily, which is important for an outdoor knife. The head has an elegant satin finish (polishing).
Friction folder - a knife of historic design
Friction folder is a folding knife that does not have a classic lock. This function is partially fulfilled by an extended handle of the blade, which is blocked with the hand after unfolding the blade. The only protection against uncontrolled folding of the blade is the force of friction and the hand embracing the handle with the mandrel tucked inside.
To open the blade, the so-called Piedmont lever is used, an elongated pin that retracts inside the handle when the knife is unfolded. When using the knife, the hand simply presses the lever, which prevents the blade from folding. Such functionality makes the knife easy and comfortable to use for both right and left-handed people.
Non-slip grip
The knife has contoured facings made with CNC technology from G10 laminate. Thanks to the fine texture and anatomical cutouts, the knife fits securely and comfortably in the hand. Kydex sheath with a cord allows you to carry the knife around your neck or in your pocket.
