Diana PCP Stormrider is a recoilless pcp carbine that allows anyone to start a great adventure in air rifle shooting.
The carbine has a modern stock made of polymer, a plastic that is resistant to damage and weather conditions. The polymer bed is not only lighter to a wooden stock, but also much less demanding when it comes to maintenance. There is fine checkering on the pistol grip and the front of the bed, which improves the carbine's grip and gives it an elegant touch. The carbine weighs only 2,300 g, so younger users and ladies can shoot it comfortably. The Monte Carlo fl ask with a symmetrical cheek piece allows the use of any optical sights and provides comfortable composition for right- and left-handers. There is a soft rubber foot on the end of the flask, allowing the carbine to rest comfortably and stably on the shoulder.
Carbine with threaded barrel
The carbine is equipped with a precisely furrowed barrel with a length of 480 mm, which has a significant impact on the accuracy and repeatability of shots. At the end of the barrel there is a sound suppressor that lowers the sound of the shot and acts as a mounting base for the musket. The Diana PCP Stormrider revolver is multi-shot thanks to the use of a rotating aluminum magazine with a capacity of 9 rounds. Once the magazine is inserted into the breech, it is magnetically secured. A side lever is used to reload the shotgun (just like in rifles). Repetition is smooth and light, so the shooter can easily reload the carbine without taking his eyes off the target. In addition to the 9-shot magazine, the kit includes a magnetic single-shot cartridge. Thanks to it, we can be sure that the shot will be properly inserted into the chamber without worrying about its distortion or jamming. For shooting, we recommend to use only diabolo shot in flat or half-round version.
TheDiana PCP Stormrider 4.5mm is powered by compressed air stored in a 100cc steel cartridge. The cartridge, filled to a maximum pressure of 200 Bar, allows to fire about 100 shots with an equal initial velocity of 250 m/s. The integrated pressure gauge allows us to read the pressure in the cartridge, so we can easily assess how much air we still have. For rolling the HP we get a quick-release coupler with a plug mount.
The Diana PCP Stormrider 4.5mm uses an adjustable trigger mechanism with a weight of ~1.3 kg. The trigger of the carbine is soft, perfectly felt and predictable, which significantly affects the precision and repeatability of shots. A manual safety, conveniently located within the bail, is responsible for safety. The carbine comes standard with mechanical sighting devices in the form of a bow tie and a two-dimensionally adjustable pin barrel. If we want to try our hand at shooting at a longer distance, we can mount an optical sight of our choice on the 11mm rail of the carbine. (disassembly of the riflescope required).
