The Gravity Captivate model from the Climate Control series, is a goggle for physically active people looking for solid and comfortable eye protection from the sun, dust and splinters
Gravity has a modern contoured frame, textured temples and a rubberized nose pad, so they fit well on any face and won't slip even with the high bumps that accompany cycling, jogging and volleyball.
The goggles have a detachable Facial Cavity seal that keeps out wind, dust, dirt and other debris that can irritate the eyes. A floating gasket (Facial Cavity Seal) also fits the WX Gravity to prevent the glasses from sinking if they fall into the water. A T-Peg paste is included, which is perfect for stabilizing and ensuring that the glasses always stay in place. The goggles have an 8-degree facial fit, which means that the goggles cover the face more, fit perfectly, provide a wide field of vision and better protection from light in the peripheral field of vision.
A key role in the goggles is played by the protective glass made of Selenite polycarbonate, which meets the stringent protective standards ANSI HVP and EN.166. The viewfinder is protected by a hard T-Shell coating, which effectively protects against scratches and increases the life of the lens. Wiley X applies a patented oleophobic coating to all Captivate polarized lenses. It gives the lenses a perfectly smooth and slippery surface, which effectively reduces the settlement of dirt, water and grease particles.

OLEOPHOBIC
Wiley X applies a patented oleophobic coating to all Captivate polarized lenses. It gives the lenses a perfectly smooth and slippery surface, which effectively reduces the settlement of dirt, water and grease particles. This prevents oily streaks (lens fingering), water stains and makes oleophobic coated lenses much easier to clean than standard lenses.
ANTI-REFLECTIVE COATING
Anti-reflective coating eliminates reflected light from the back of the lenses and guarantees maximum polarizing filter performance. The anti-reflective coating ensures image clarity, reduces susceptibility to eye fatigue, hardens the lens surface and increases lens durability. Anti-reflective coatings are used exclusively in polarized lenses.
REMOVABLE FACIAL CAVITY™ SEAL
The Facial Cavity seal (detachable from the frame) protects your vision from the elements and effectively keeps out wind, dust, dirt and other debris that can irritate your eyes. It is also responsible for, blocking outside light that can reduce the optical performance of the glasses.
BALLISTIC
The product meets or exceeds (US) MIL-PRF-32432 Ballistic and MCEP (Military Combat Eye Protection) standards.
The frame and lenses must provide protection against a 3.8 mm diameter bullet fired at 700-720 km/h (goggles). Goggles to provide protection against a 5.56 mm diameter bullet fired at 594-612 km/h. Lenses and frames marked with the Ballistic standard provide the highest level of eye protection and are virtually indestructible.
Human eyes are a very delicate and complex tool. Some of the light waves are invisible to it, and some are also harmful and dangerous. Lenses with CAPTIVATE technology effectively filter out harmful bands and waves that interfere with vision. This is especially important during prolonged exposure to the sun, such as when beachcombing, fishing, etc. Thanks to polarization, the image seen through Wiley X Captivate lenses is crystal clear, colors are intensely saturated, and contrast between them is more quickly perceived. CAPTIVATE blocks harmful UV / HEV light rays, thus reducing the risk of retinal cell damage and age-related macular degeneration. It's worth remembering that spending an hour outdoors on a normal cloudy day exposes our eyes to at least 30× more blue light than spending an hour indoors sitting in front of a monitor or TV. Wiley X, with CAPTIVATE lenses, is a premium polarized eyewear that blocks "bad" blue light of up to 430 nm.
Captivate filters out the light that is responsible for blurred vision. Polarization makes the shades of red, green and blue much more intense.
Higher clarity
Blue light uses a shorter wavelength, which scatters light at higher frequencies, creating a blurred image. CAPTIVATE polarized lenses effectively filter out this harmful light spectrum, making distant objects much more visible.
