TheWalther P38 4.5 mm CO2 BB is a CO2 air pistol long awaited by collectors and enthusiasts of World War II weaponry.
TheWalther P38 4.5 mm CO2 BB is a faithful blow-backreplica of the German self-revolving pistol, produced continuously from 1938 to 2004.
Replica of a historical weapon
The revolver is characterized by excellent fit and finish of the construction, which is almost entirely (except for the handle linings) made of metal.
Like the original, the pistol has a heavy metal construction weighing 730 grams, cross-grooved linings, a smooth-operating trigger mechanism and a metal safety cable catch.
The polymer facings, which perfectly imitate wood, have transverse grooving, which make the airgun very secure in the hand and have no tendency to slip.
Thehigh attention to detail is highlighted by a metal clip on the handle, used in the original to attach a cable to secure the weapon from being lost.
The Walther P38 has classic fixed-set sighting instruments, recommended for precision shooting and learning to shoot. All gun and militaria enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the air rifle bears the licensed markings of the manufacturer Walther.
Automatic reloading
The air rifle is fueled by a 12gCO2 capsule, mounted in the undersurface of the handle. The compressed carbon dioxide gives the fired diabolo shots a velocity of up to 120 m/s and allows accurate shooting at a distance of about 20 m.
A good quality CO2 cartridge allows you to fire about 60 aligned shots. The number of shots also depends on the air temperature, shooting dynamics and proper maintenance of the airgun. It is also important to remember that aCO2 capsule (punctured) can be left in the windgun for a maximum of 48 hours.
After this time, the capsule must be removed or "fired". Installation and replacement of the capsule are very simple, requiring only the removal of the lining, placing the capsule in the handle and tightening it with the pressure screw.
BB's 4.46mm steel BB shot
The metal magazine, which slides out of the handle, holds 20 BB's 4.46 mm shot, which are best suited for recreational shooting at reactive targets, cans, bottles, etc.
The magazine feeder can be locked in the lower position, this allows for gravity loading of the shotgun directly from the container. Unlike lead shot, BB'S do not deform even under pressure, so they can be safely loaded into high-capacity magazines.
Gun-like recoil
TheCO2 supply has made it possible to use a powerful blow-back system, which is responsible for the realistic recoil after the shot is fired. The effective and perceptible "kick" of the airgun makes us have an irresistible impression of shooting and interacting with a real weapon.
After firing all BB's from the magazine, the lock remains in the rear position. Replacing the magazine, reloading and the process of firing the shot also allude to the mechanics of a firearm.
Such functionality guarantees great fun while allowing you to learn to shoot safely.
Single Action trigger mechanism
The air rifle uses the classic SA (single action) trigger mechanism, which means that manual cock tension or reloading is required before firing the first shot.
When carrying or storing, the trigger mechanism can be locked with a left-hand external safety.
