The 940-2 model belongs to the blue class of Benchmade knives. The blade, which the manufacturer describes as a "modified reverse tanto", is made of top S30V steel with a hardness of (58-60HRC). The length of the blade is 86mm while its thickness is 2.9mm. These dimensions, together with the used blade profile, make the 940-2 an interesting proposition for an EDC knife.
The ergonomic handle made of durable G10 composite is reinforced with stainless steel liners. Pleasing to the eye is the titanium spacer which has additionally been anodized. The knife comes with a convertible clip.
