Gerber Suspension is a compact multitool with steel construction, equipped with spring-loaded pliers, Safe.T.Plus automatic locking mechanism and a set of 14 useful tools.
With its solid steel construction and smaller size, the Gerber Suspension will perform well as an edc tool. The multitool has a classic butterfly design, which means that you access the tools by unfolding the arms.
Steel construction
Gerber Suspension is an 89mm multitool made entirely of steel. The skeletonized design of the arms reduces the weight of the tool and gives it a modern style.
Stainless steel is resistant to corrosion, weather and dirt, so Gerber Suspension can work in any conditions.
The manufacturer has dispensed with the use of lightweight aluminum, so the tool is durable and safely withstands the heavy loads created during undermining, tightening and cutting.
Convenient spring-loaded pliers
The main tool of the multitool is the spring-loaded pliers with narrow ends (needle nose), which are best suited for precision work.
Thanks to the spring, the combiners can be comfortably operated with one hand, as the jaws open spontaneously when pressure is released.
Within the pliers there is a wire and cable cutter, a serrated notch, and cross cutters that improve the grip of the object.
Two blades
TheGerber Suspension has two folding blades: smooth and serrated, thus increasing the functionality and usability of the multitool. The serrated surface will work best when cutting hard and fibrous materials such as rope, webbing and belts.
Saf.T.Lock tool lock
The multitool uses the Saf.T.Lock automatic locking mechanism, which prevents all tools from being folded during use. The lock sliders (on both arms) have been conveniently located so that we can operate with our thumb.
Such functionality not only contributes to a high level of safety, it also creates the necessary confidence and conviction that the tool will not let us down in a difficult situation.
Useful tools
Despite its small size, the multitool contains 14 useful tools that are helpful for small repairs, preparing a meal, barbecuing, traveling and everyday urban activities.
It comes with a case made of ballistic nylon, which is resistant to moisture mold and weather conditions.
