TheGerber Compact Clearpath is a compact stainless steel machete with a functional saw and a non-slip Gator grip.
TheGerber Compact Clearpath is a handy, easy-to-carry hiking tool that combines the features of a machete and a wood saw. Such functionality means that for a field trip we don't have to take two separate tools with us and reduce the weight of our equipment.
Stainless steel head
The 280mm-long blade is made from a single piece of stainless steel (hidden-tang construction), which is characterized by high hardness and wear resistance, making it perfect for overcoming off-road obstacles, chopping, grubbing and cutting.
One tool, two functions
The drop-point profile blade is the optimal solution in a tool designed for heavy tasks. The center of gravity of the blade has been shifted slightly forward, as a result of which the hand tires less during work, and the cutting itself is very efficient.
On the back of the machete is a wood saw equipped with 2 rows of sharp teeth.
This simple solution effectively increases the functionality and performance of the machete in the field, which is why the Gerber Compact Clearpath is particularly popular among bushcraft, survival and kayaking enthusiasts.
Sturdy handle
A contoured handle made of fine-textured rubberized GatorGrip plastic is responsible for comfort and a stable grip. The grip provides excellent grip and effectively dampens vibrations during work.
The enlarged hilt and finger cutout protect the hand from slipping on the blade. At the end of the handle is a clip to which a safety lanyard is attached.
The machete's grip is enlivened by orange inserts, which increase its visibility and make it easier to find the tool among the vegetation.
Safe carrying
Theset comes with a nylon sheath that is fastened with a belt clip. The ballistic nylon used is a material resistant to moisture, mold and mechanical damage.
