The Umarex Expert 4.5/5.5 Windshield Cutter is a kit for cleaning and maintaining the barrels of .22 LR air rifles and sporting weapons.
Regular cleaning of the barrel tube of a firearm avoids heavy fouling and the formation of corrosion nests, which can lead to permanent damage to the barrel.
Unlike firearms, the barrel of an air rifle only needs to be cleaned once a year, for example, at the end of the shooting season or when a visible layer of lead is deposited.
The kit includes a 3-piece notch, cotton mop brushes for polishing, nylon brushes and brass brushes for removing carbon buildup and fouling that fit 4.5 and 5.5 mm caliber barrels.
Brass brushes should only be used for cleaning firearm barrels.
