TheH&K HK416 A5 6 mm isan excellent replica of the assault carbine used by most special units around the world, including JWK and JW Grom.
Full-metal construction
TheH&K HK416 A5 6 mm is made almost entirely of metal. Of polymer are the pistol grip and HK's new-type flask.
The carbine has an R.I.S. bedand a Picatinny top rail, which allow the use of additional shooting accessories such as a vertical grip, flashlight or collimator.
As in the original, the replica uses flip-up (collapsible) sighting instruments, which can serve as backup instruments when a collimator is attached.
The adjustable-length flask is finished with a non-slip foot, providing a secure point of support. On the flask and the bed there are carrying belt attachments.
Theprecision 6.03mm barrel is terminated with a 14mm left-hand thread, on which a standard bird cage type flame suppressor is mounted.
The high realism of the design is emphasized by the working breech drop (bolt catch) in a new, enlarged version.
Electric drive
The carbine has an electric drive, so it can shoot single or continuous fire. The fired bullets reach a velocity of about 330 fps, and have an effective range of about 40 meters. The precision of the shots is ensured by an adjustable Rotary type hop-up chamber.
Unlike spring-powered replicas, electric-powered carbines do not require reloading before each shot, so they provide much higher rate of fire and dynamic performance.
At the heart of the replica is a metal gearbox v2 supported by reinforced components including a piston with metal teeth, aluminum piston head, aluminum piston, tappet and 8mm plain bearings.
The carbine features a MOSFET circuit responsible for higher battery performance and improved trigger response. The replica's flask is adapted for li-po batteries.
High-capacity magazine
The set includes a hi-cap magazine with a capacity of up to 300 balls. After firing about 30 balls, the magazine requires manual refilling of balls to the feeder (key included).
