The Elite Force 7.4V, 1100 mAh, 20 C battery pack is a dual lithium-ion stick pack designed to power electric asg carbines. The pack fits the Heckler & Koch HK416/417/G36 and MG4 family of replicas.
The lithium-polymer (LiPo) battery is the successor and an excellent alternative to the lithium-ion ( LiI-on ) pack. The main advantages of LiPo batteries include their compact size, high discharge current, low self-discharge rate and resistance to low temperatures.
Elite Force LiPo batteries for powering electric replicas
The small size, while maintaining high current capacity, allows the pack to be matched to almost any AEG replica. LiPo batteries do not have a memory effect, so they can be charged without first discharging. Unlike other types of batteries, frequent charging of a LiPo pack promotes its performance. LiPo cells for asg also perform much better at low temperatures, so we can also use electric replicas in winter.
Li-Po pack technology
An unquestionable advantage of the LiPo pack is its low self-discharge rate. An unused pack loses only 3-5% of its energy after 30 days of storage. During long storage, it should not be allowed to discharge below the nominal value of 3 volts per cell, as this leads to irreversible chemical reactions, reduced performance of the pack, permanent damage and, in a critical situation, even self-ignition. Therefore, the pack should be stored after charging to 70% capacity.
The LiPo battery should not be discharged below 3 volts (per cell) and overcharged above 4.2 volts (per cell). It is recommended to use only a dedicated charger with a balancer (using a service plug) for charging. Charging should be carried out at room temperature. Following the correct operating rules, the life of the Elite Force LiPo battery is about 500 charging cycles.
