TheHeckler&Koch HK416 is made of reinforced polymer (body, flask, pistol grip) and aluminum (trigger mechanism, manipulators, accessory rails).
The carbine has an R.I.S. bed and a Picatinny top rail, which allow the use of additional shooting accessories such as a vertical grip, flashlight or collimator. As in the combat version, the Heckler&Koch HK416 A5 4.5mm air rifle has folding sighting instruments, which can serve as backup instruments when a collimator is attached. The carbine has an adjustable flask (5 positions) with a rubber foot and a clip for attaching a carrying belt. It allows you to adjust the length of the air rifle to the age and build of the shooter. The barrel is finished with a standard A2 flame suppressor (bird cage).
The realism of the design is emphasized by functioning manipulators: a double-sided fire selector (which also serves as a fuse) and a magazine latch. The carbine is powered by 2CO2 capsules mounted in a magazine that also holds 36 4.46mm pellets. The fired BB shot reaches a velocity of about 133 m/s (436 fps), so the carbine can be successfully used for medium range shooting. The element that definitely distinguishes the Heckler&Koch HK416 A5 4.5 mmCO2 air rifle from other air rifles is the ability to shoot single-fire and a short 6-shot series. The increased rate of fire means that we can shoot cans, bottles and reactive targets in the blink of an eye. Using 2 branded 12gCO2 capsules, we can fire up to 370 shots from the carbine with an even initial velocity, making it extremely efficient and economical in the amount of gas used.
