For unfolding the blade with one hand, a milled fin (flipper) protruding at the base of the blade is used. Despite the low price, the process of unfolding the blade is extremely smooth, fast and comfortable for both right and left-handed people. The transverse frets used on the back of the blade (thumb ramp) allow the thumb to rest securely while planing and cutting with precision. When the blade is extended, it is locked with the popular liner-lock, a mechanism valued for its strength and comfort. The locking function is performed by a skeleton strip (liners), which, when the blade is unfolded, supports its root and prevents it from folding during work.
The handle of the knife is formed by textured facings made of G10 laminate, a material that is resistant to mechanical impact, high temperature and the effects of some active chemicals.
