The Optima by Hatsan Hydra 4.5mm PCP air rifle is a modular PCP carbine with a stylish wooden stock and a 2-stage adjustable trigger mechanism, to which we can buy an additional barrel in a different caliber and replace it ourselves.
Optima air rifles are manufactured by the Hatsan brand with the same parameters and technological solutions.
Manufactured by the Turkish arms manufacturer Hatsan, the windcheaters have been popular among Polish sport shooters for years thanks to the capabilities they provide within their price range. The Optima by Hatsan brand offers the same excellent cost-to-quality ratio, which is a direct result of the solutions used in the manufacturing process. The manufacturer's tremendous capabilities allow it to manufacture every part in a single factory, so the windguns are made from scratch under the watchful eye of Hatsan specialists.
The PCP Optima by Hatsan Hydra air rifle is the ultimate way to solve the eternal dilemma of shooters regarding the choice of the caliber of an air rifle. In this carbine, the barrel with the breech are a single module, so the shooter can buy an additional barrel in a different caliber and make the exchange himself. Replacing the barrel is extremely easy, requiring only the unscrewing of the screw holding the entire module, replacing it with a new one and re-tightening the screw.

Optima by Hatsan Hydra 4.5 mm - precision pcp carbine with interchangeable barrel.
The Optima by Hatsan Hydra 4.5mm air rifle has a stylish selectorized Turkish walnut wood stock. Aesthetically pleasing checkering was made on the pistol grip and bed, which gives the carbine an elegant style and improves the carbine's grip. The symmetrical flask with a high Monte Carlo stock allows mounting optics with a large eyepiece and provides comfortable folding for right- and left-handed shooters. The molded rubber foot allows the carbine to rest stably and comfortably in the shooting hole. Thanks to the small size of the carbine, younger users and ladies can comfortably shoot with the air rifle.
The Optima by Hatsan Hydra carbine has a double 11/22 mm rail for an optical sight and buckles for attaching a carry strap. The carbine uses a precision furrowed 450 mm barrel ending in a chok (taper), which, in the case of a long barrel, provides better guidance and sealing of the shot in the barrel tube. The modular design of the carbine allows to replace the barrel and breech assembly and replace it with a set of a different caliber (available in a separate offer). Thanks to such functionality, we can buy additional barrels for the carbine and change the caliber as needed. The breech chamber has an integrated rail, so the mounted sight does not need to be reset each time the caliber is changed.
A 165 cc steel compressed air cartridge is used to power the Optima by Hatsan Hydra 4.5mm. A fully charged hp reservoir allows the user to fire approximately 48 shots with a repeatable initial velocity. Thanks to the built-in pressure gauge, the user can easily control the pressure and remaining air reserve.
The Optima by Hatsan Hydra pcp rifle uses an aluminum 14-shot magazine to feed shot. Reloading and insertion of the shot into the chamber is carried out with a side-lever reloading action with smooth action characteristics. The high accuracy of the air rifle is due, among other things, to the use of an adjustable two-stage Quattro Trigger. The user can independently define the length of the initial path and the trigger weight, so after just a short shooting practice we can get a tight and satisfying focus on the target. The carbine has 2 mechanisms responsible for the safety of use: Anti-Knock System-mechanismthat prevents uncontrolled firing in case of a fall or large shock to the carbine, and a manual safety located directly in front of the trigger.
Included with the carbine is a set of accessories: a Quick-Fill charging plug, a single-shot cartridge, a wrench, a set of o-rings and 2 14-shot magazines.
A shot fired from the carbine reaches a velocity of up to 250 m/s.
