TheGanzo Firebird F7551-BK is an interesting edc folder, with a distinctive sheepfoot blade made of 440C steel, a G-lock on both sides, and an eye-catching blue finish on the peg and screws.
The knife uses a solid sheepfoot profile blade with a flat grind, which features a distinctly descending ridge, a fairly gently finished tip and an almost straight cutting edge. Such a blade shape will be perfect for planing, batoning, as well as for slicing food.
The 440C stainless steel blade retains its sharpness for a long time, is resistant to corrosion, and is also easy to sharpen in field conditions. A double-sided peg, convenient for both right- and left-handed people, is used to unfold this massive blade.
An undercut at the base of the blade and cross-milling on the back greatly improve grip and control of the knife. The G-lock is a durable and convenient one-handed mechanism.
The molded G10 laminate liners have non-slip knurling to increase grip and grip confidence. A paracord hole in the handle and a steel clip that translates to the other side are assets that a good quality edc knife can't do without.
