Stainless steel
The Ganzo G7412-BK-WS is a functional folder with a minimalist style, which will work well as an edc tool or a hiking/outdoor knife.
The knife's head is made of the popular 440C stainless steel hardened to 58-60 HRC. Thanks to its higher carbon content, 440C steel is resistant to wear, retains its working sharpness for a long time, and sharpens relatively quickly and easily, which is important for an outdoor knife. The smoothness and efficiency of cutting is ensured by a flat grind, ending in a strong tip for easy penetration and precise cutting. The back of the blade has been raised at the base, and cross cutters have been applied to it, allowing the fingers to rest steadily while working. The blade was finished using the stonewashed method (pebble bath). During the bath in a fine abrasive material, an irregular texture is formed on the surface of the steel, which effectively masks minor scratches made during use.
Locking blade
Thanks to the double-sided peg, the blade can be quickly and easily unfolded with one hand. This ensures that the knife is ready for use in no time and allows right- and left-handed people to use the knife comfortably. When unfolded, the blade is locked with a G-lock. The lock used is valued for its reliability and mechanical strength, and, like the peg, can be operated with either the left or right hand.
Non-slip handle
In the design of any knife, an important role is played by the handle, on which depends the comfort and safety of use. The Ganzo G7412-BK-WS uses contoured G10 laminate liners. The anatomical profiling combined with the rough texture of the grip make the knife comfortable and safe to use. The outdoor character of the knife is emphasized by a paracord lanyard ending in a signal whistle, useful for communication and calling for help. The knife can be discreetly carried in a pocket with the help of a steel clip (which can be repositioned).
