The head with a utilitarian drop-point profile (flat grind) has a length of 86 mm, so the knife can easily handle most tasks you'll face during your daily activities. The blade is made of tough and durable D2 tool steel hardened to 58-60 HRC. D2 is the most corrosion-resistant carbon steel, which is characterized by high impact strength, abrasion resistance, long retention of working sharpness and very good cutting properties. The aggressiveness of the cutting edge was achieved thanks to the high carbon content of the steel (more than 0.5%). Alloying additives, in the form of chromium and nickel, improve corrosion resistance. Due to the high degree of hardening and the chemical composition of D2 steel, sharpening should be done with a diamond sharpener.
To unfold the blade with one hand, there is a milled flipper and a decorative hole in the head. Thanks to such functionality, the knife is comfortable to use for both right- and left-handed people, and we can unfold the blade with a technique that is more comfortable and easier for us.
On the back of the blade are applied transverse cutters (ramp), which facilitate the stable guidance of the blade and allow the thumb to rest comfortably while working. When the blade is unfolded, it is locked with the popular liner-lock, a mechanism valued for its strength and comfort. The locking of the blade is done by means of a liner bar (skeleton insert), which rests against the base of the blade.
